A relic of the upper, luminous air.
The name of this piece draws from the word aether, believed in ancient Greek thought to be the pure, luminous upper air — the substance the gods breathed. It represents light, clarity, and something just beyond reach; not earthly air, but something higher and more refined, almost sacred.
Aetherion centres around a piece of natural labradorite, chosen for its shifting internal light — a phenomenon known as labradorescence. Caused by light interacting with the stone’s internal layers of twinned feldspar crystals, flashes of colour appear beneath the surface as it moves. The stone is set in sterling silver, with an open, symmetrical structure that keeps the piece feeling balanced and light rather than heavy. A suspended drop element, paired with belcher chain accents, adds a subtle sense of movement and softness to the overall form.
This stunning piece weighs 42 grams, measures 117mm long, 60mm wide, and hangs from a 16"/40cm chain.
One of a kind, entirely hand fabricated Jewellery.
